The colon helps our body flush out toxins and waste. It helps to maintain electrolyte balance in the body by absorbing necessary salt (sodium) and water.

While regular bowel movement helps eliminate waste and toxic materials from the body, regular colon cleansing is still important to remove trapped toxins that are attached to the colon walls.
The build-up of contaminants in the colon walls can cause health conditions such as diarrhea, constipation, colds, headaches, exhaustion, indigestion, joint pain, asthma, memory loss, stress, and vision problems when the colon is not thoroughly cleaned.
There are organic remedies you can do at home, as well.
Eat High in Fiber Vegetables

Vegetables and Fruits are highly effective in eliminating trapped waste and toxins from our colon.
Rich-in-fiber fruits and vegetables help keep our colon healthy by constantly flushing out contaminants.
In your daily diet, it is important to have rich fiber fruits such as apples, raspberries, prunes, pears, etc. and vegetables such as broccoli, spinach, artichoke, peas, etc..
You’re also avoiding the build-up of toxins in your colon by eating these daily.
Triphala Herbal Treatment

Triphala is a natural laxative. Triphala’s linoleic oil, vitamin C, phospholipids, and bioflavonoids stimulate bowel movements, and promote our body’s elimination of toxins and waste.
To use it simply mix a glass of water and a Triphala tablespoon. Drink this in the morning, first thing.
Sea Salt

This remedy is not intended for people with high blood pressure or other cardiac conditions. Ask your doctor first.
Fill a glass with tea, pour it into a pot and let it boil.
Add in a tablespoon of sea salt as the water boils, and let it boil a little bit more.
Set the pot aside after a few seconds, and let it cool for a while.
Drink the water slowly.
After sipping the salt water, you’ll feel a bit nauseous so lie down and rest.
Then you will feel the need to go to the dining room.
Get enough rest over the rest of the day.
It’s better to do this remedy during the weekend, for that reason.
Apples

You’ve probably heard that countless times: an apple a day, keeps away the doctor. Fresh apples are effective at riding our colon of trapped toxic materials.
Wake up in the morning; treat yourself to a glass of fresh apple juice. Then chase it down with a glass of hot water. You improve your waste disposal and bowel movement by drinking at least three to four glasses of fresh apple juice per day.
Water It’s important that we hydrate ourselves daily so that the various organs in our body can work properly.
Recommended daily intake is 8 to 10 glasses of water.

By drinking enough water, you stimulate your colon’s natural peristaltic action which then allows it to function normally.
You can also drink fresh fruit and vegetable juices, coconut water, fresh lemon juice, and so on. Try to stay away from sodas and colas.
