For most of my childhood, I felt I was pretty safe. I wasn’t overweight, I was just really lean. I usually eat two to three meals a day, not a lot of junky food, so I thought. I was about to discover the hard way that my lifestyle and eating habits weren’t good at all.
My diet was like much of North America’s lifestyle, lots of fried food, water, sweets, not actual juice, but man made sugary beverages, fast food, and lots of fat! I smoked 2 packs of menthol cigarettes a day, too. I got less involved as time went by, too.
I figured my lifestyle and eating patterns were completely normal. That’s how I’ve seen most people live their lives. What I didn’t know was all the dyes, preservatives and hydrogenated oils I used to ingest, not to mention air smoke, solvents, chemicals and heavy metals in our setting.
We blast our homes with pesticides to kill disgusting little critters. We’re going out on the lawn that’s just been coated with more pesticides. We place chlorine in our pools and we can’t go outside at any time without being exposed to exhaust emissions from vehicles, ships, etc. Some of our food sources are low in nutrients. We don’t eat the way our mothers and grandchildren do. Their diet became more nutrient-rich. We, for a long period of time, have drained our soil, and the relentless deluge of pesticides used to generate further crop yields is what is going on in our country.
What does it all mean? We’re living in a highly poisonous environment!
There are different types of detox strategies that help the body get rid of its toxic overload.
Colon washing is just one of them! Some people have some trouble with their stomach, constipation is one of the major ones. Colon washing can be achieved simply by consuming foods rich in fiber or by taking fiber supplements. A diet that contains vegetables and fruit, such as raspberries or blueberries, is a perfect source of nutrition. In addition, 1 cup of these fruits has as much fiber as 10 bran muffins. Imagine the carb count of ten bran muffins! It’s a must, too, that you drink a lot of liquids. It helps to hydrate and nourish the body and wash toxins and fecal matter out of your bloodstream.
Diet is so important to you! Eat organic whenever possible. We have enough toxins and poisons and processed products to contend with. Just exercise your common sense to eat all the good foods that Mother Nature intended. Instead of a fast energy candy bar, eat a slice of fruit instead.
Fasting is also a legitimate method for detoxification. Once you feed, the body spends several hours absorbing the food by fermentation, nourishing the cells and extracting it. When you avoid eating and drinking a lot of water, your body will focus on removing toxins and restoring the body. Fasting will be 1 to 3 days or up to 10 days if performed correctly and under the guidance of a licensed practitioner. A referral to a registered nutritionist will also provide you with the collection of vitamins and herbal supplements that suit your unique needs.
You should also take spa detox foot baths for detox foot patches. They’re great because they’re pulling toxins into your muscles. Personally, I know what these detox baths can do. You’d be shocked by how mucky the water is after 30 minutes. The colour of the water is specifically connected to where you are detoxifying, such as the gallbladder, the kidneys, the lymphatic system, etc. The modern world calls for change in caring for the bodies. Detoxifying is a smart way to reduce chemical build-up. You’re going to look fantastic and have the energy to spare.
